Kapha skin is usually soft, pale a greasy with large pores. Resistant to the sun, Kapha skin is more prone to black spots, so regular detoxification is required. Kapha skin care should be stimulating with regular facial cleansing; at least twice a day and a deep peel at least once a week.

Stress can physically affect Kapha types. To stimulate your physical senses, try regular massages with refreshing, decongestant and detoxifying essential oils such as basil, clove, eucalyptus and rosemary to cheer up your mind and body.

Kapha type people are recommended to eat light, dry, bitter, spicy, warm, astringent food and products. Not recommended - cold, fatty, sweet, sour, salty products. Kapha types should avoid sweet, oily, processed foods and recipes that include fermented food recipes.
