Dosha
DOOS
The main aspect of Ayurveda is the decoding of your constitution or dosha. Doshas consist of a combination of five elements of air, ether, fire, earth and water. You may have heard of people being described as fiery, flying, or grounded, which characterizes their structure. There are three main types of doshas, and each is made from a combination of elements: Vata (air and ether), Pitta (fire and water), and Kapha (water and earth). Knowing and living according to one's constitution will help to prevent general diseases, which is the very goal of Ayurveda.
Any person has an inherited dominance of one or more doshas. Knowledge of your dominant doshas or constitution allows you to determine the predisposition to certain diseases, while returning doshas to a state of equilibrium is the most important aspect of Ayurvedic treatment, and skin care, taking into account this balance, can achieve great results.
